The reason it's not in this roundup is because it was about obscure unfamiliar mac applications. Handbrake is well known among mac-users and since that was the audience of the talk at BarcampLondon3 it didn't make this list. @Julien Hebbrecht

The standard setting is to also hide the desktop picture and switch to monochrome. All this to make sure the screen will hurt your eyes less. @kevin
